Alison Krauss one of most popular and successful Country Musicians born on July 23, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois, United States. She and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is a country and bluegrass artist. She entered the music industry as a young girl, having won local competitions at when she was 10 years old, and making her first recording when she was 14 years old. The year 1985 saw her enrolled with Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. After that, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings together. Her debut album in a group with this band came out in the year 1989.
