Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the most outstanding athletes. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone was interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl when she took a field trip for day care to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles, who won gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before her debut in 2011 in the elite category of competition. In less than two years, she became the top athlete in her field. Biles was notable by her consistent performance, her exuberant attitude and the level of challenge she made in each event--vault bars that were uneven the balance beam, and the ground exercises.
