Kelly Clarkson was an American performer/songwriter, who became America's Sweetheart after she was crowned American Idol in the inaugural series of the series. She's one of the biggest artist to emerge from American Idol. She started to explore themes and music when her popularity grew. She earned critical acclaim and several prestigious awards for her distinct voice and talent. She's been honored with the Grammy Award 3 times. Alongside her career in music, she has appeared in films and television shows. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in several charities.
